Sieves with wire mesh
Wire-mesh sieves are among the most frequently used types of test sieves for precise laboratory analyses. The frame is manufactured from high-quality stainless steel sheet, steel sheet, or aluminium. The sieves are available in standard dimensions Ø 75, Ø 100, Ø 200, Ø 300, Ø 400 mm, as well as a 500 × 500 mm square frame.
The screening surface is made of wire mesh with precisely defined aperture sizes ranging from 45 µm to 8 mm. For aperture sizes above 4 mm, we recommend using sieves with a perforated steel plate, which offer greater mechanical durability and stability in this range.
The sieves comply with ČSN ISO 3310-1. They are suitable for manual or mechanical, dry or wet sieving.
The sieves are fully compatible with sieves and sieve shakers from all recognised manufacturers, enabling easy integration into existing laboratory and industrial setups.
Analytical wire-mesh sieves are used for precise separation, fractionation, and determination of weight fractions of particles of predefined sizes in various industrial and laboratory applications. They are used, for example, in the analysis of cement clinker, chemicals, coffee, construction materials, fertilisers, fillers, flour, grains, metal powders, minerals, nuts, plastics, sand, seeds, soil, or washing powders. Thanks to the finely crafted wire mesh, they offer reproducible results and reliable quality control in production and research laboratories.
