Rod sieves for determining the flakiness index
Rod sieves are intended for aggregate testing according to EN 933-3, specifically for determining the flakiness index. They are manufactured in the size 300 × 300 mm with an aluminium frame and firmly mounted stainless-steel rods.
The rod spacing is precisely defined by the standard and available in the range from 2 to 50 mm, enabling testing of various aggregate fractions as required by the standard.
Rod sieves feature a robust construction and long service life. They are fully compatible with laboratory equipment from other manufacturers.
Rod sieves for determining the flakiness index are used in aggregate testing according to EN 933-3. They enable accurate determination of the proportion of flat particles in different fractions, which is important for assessing the quality of aggregate intended for concrete mixes, asphalt, or other construction materials. Thanks to the stainless-steel rods with precisely defined spacing, they provide reliable and repeatable results. They are suitable for use in accredited laboratories, testing facilities, and for operational quality control of construction materials.
