Grain sieves with perforated plates
Grain sieves with perforated plates are designed for grading and assessing the grain size of cereals, seeds, and other agricultural commodities. They are produced in several variants: most commonly circular Ø 200 mm with a stainless-steel frame or black-coated aluminium frame; square steel versions; or rectangular versions with a wooden frame measuring 150 × 430 mm and a stainless-steel screening plate.
The openings in the screening plate have precisely defined dimensions according to the standard, starting from the oval shape 1.0–3.5 × 20.0 mm, ensuring consistent and repeatable testing results.
The sieves comply with ČSN ISO 5223. Round sieves can be stacked, and together with the metal rectangular sieves, they are suitable for manual or mechanical, dry or wet sieving.
The sieves are compatible with sieves and sieve shakers from other recognised manufacturers.
Grain sieves with perforated plates are intended for grading and quality control of cereals, seeds, and other agricultural crops. They are used for determining grain purity and size fraction in agricultural laboratories, breeding stations, and research institutes. Thanks to the precisely manufactured openings in the metal plate, they enable reliable separation of impurities, damaged grains, or small grain particles. The robust construction ensures long service life and stable results even under frequent use in operational conditions.
